Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken thighs with paprika, onion powder, crushed red chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Massage the spices into the meat for even coating.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken thighs and sear for about 5 to 7 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes until both sides are crispy. Remove from skillet and let rest.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the green beans and stir to combine with garlic-butter mixture. Pour in chicken stock and lemon juice.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer, then return the chicken thighs to the skillet, nestling them among the green beans. Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish to add color and fresh flavor.

Notes

For best results, allow the chicken to rest after cooking. Adjust garlic and hot sauce to taste. Experiment with additional vegetables or protein substitutions.
