Ingredients
  

For the wraps

  • 4 large large tortilla wraps
  • 400 g chicken breast Trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 150 g grated cheese Use cheddar or gouda
  • 100 g cream cheese Regular cream cheese for best melting
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic Finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For seasoning the chicken
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs For seasoning the chicken
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Fresh salad Optional side

Preparation

  • Trim any excess fat from the chicken breast and cut into small, bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Finely chop the garlic while the chicken cooks. Once the chicken is cooked, add the garlic to the skillet and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and combine the chicken and garlic with cream cheese and grated cheese in a mixing bowl. Stir until mixed.
  • Lay out the tortilla wraps, divide the cheesy chicken mixture among them, and roll them up tightly.
  • In the same skillet, place the wrapped tortillas seam side down and heat for a couple of minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Pre-cook and shred the chicken for quicker assembly. Add vegetables to the filling for extra nutrition. Use enough seasoning to enhance the flavor.
