  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced For garnish
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds For garnish

Cooking

  • Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring frequently until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the ground chicken to the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula and cooking until no longer pink.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar until the chicken is well coated.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and continue cooking for a couple more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Fold in the sliced green onions and sesame seeds, mixing until well combined and heated through.

Notes

Serve over warm rice or noodles. It's great for meal prep and can be served with a side of steamed vegetables or salad. Adjust sweetness with honey if desired.
